All of the horses at our yard with are going to be sold are treated like normal members of the yard. We school the horses thorughly so they are totally ready to move onto a new home, and we vet prospective buyers. The horses stay at my yard for a minimum of 3 months before being sold on, and most stay for 6 months to a year. We keep contact with the horses once they have left so we know how they are getting on. Here's a horse who may benefit from our handling policies:-
